저는 정말 어렸을 때부터 '넌 잘못됐어' 또는 '이렇게 하면 안 돼'라는 말을 여러 사람에게 듣곤 했습니다.

내 생각이 다른 사람들과 다르다는 이유로 틀리다고 지탄받는 어린 시절을 보냈던 기억이 아른하게 나네요.

저는 제 마음속에 있는 세계에서 무언가를 찾기 위해 외부적으로 표출했던 분노나 투정들이 남들에게는 곱게 보이지 않았던 모양입니다.

때문에 어린 시절 음악에 의지를 많이 했었는데 특히 광고 삽입이나 BGM으로 많이 송출되는 제이슨므라즈의 i won't give up는 많이 들었던 기억이 나네요.

음악이 좋은 이유는 시간이 얼마나 지나든 간에 지나가버린 나에게 돌아가 당시의 시간을 되돌아보게 해주기 때문인 것 같습니다.
